Haas Hall - Bentonville
We would love to find a band director
to help with the small band program at Haas Hall in Bentonville.
We are looking for someone who is
available 1.5 hours one day per week from approximately 2:30-4pm (or
2:45-4:15pm or 3-4:30pm) who could also help with sourcing music for
the kids to play, arrange for 1 small concert/performance per
semester and guide the kids through the All Region and Solo/Ensemble
Haas Hall has a similar arrangement
with a choir director who is working with the kids one day per week
after school and I'm sure she could share some feedback on what
worked for the choir program this past school year.
Until the school year starts, we will
not know exactly how many kids will be participating or what
instruments they play. Last year there were approximately 12
kids who played trumpet, trombone, percussion, flute, clarinet and
tenor sax, but we expect we will have more interested students once
we make the program more formal.
