Siloam Springs School District has an immediate open for the position of assistant band director. This is a new position and the contract will be for one year. Duties will include: Teaching two 6th grade beginning band classes, one 7th grade intermediate band class, one 8th grade advanced band class, and assisting with high school band class.  Applicant needs a valid Arkansas teaching certificate with certification for Instrumental Music Education as prescribed by the Arkansas Department of Education.

Morrilton
I will need a long-term substitute for maternity leave starting, as of now, on October 11 for six weeks. I teach two beginning woodwind classes, a general music class, a music theory class, HS marching band, and assist with 7th and 8th grade bands. England Public School District
England Public School District is now hiring an Elementary / Vocal Music Teacher for the 2010 – 2011 school year.
This position will be responsible for teaching grades k-6 music, and grades 7-12 vocal music. Applicants must meet all ADE requirements for licensure and must be vocal certified.

NLR Long-term Sub
Poplar Street Beginning Band in North Little Rock is seeking a long-term sub due to maternity leave. The sub period will begin sometime at the end of September through the end of November. Ouachita River School District – Oden
Oden Schools have an opening for a music teacher during the 2010/2011 school year. The duties will include all music classes - band, choir, high school and junior high general music, beginning band, and elementary general music. This is a very nice school district with great kids.
