White County Central
White County Central School District has an opening for a band director/music teacher for the 2009-2010 school year. White County Central is located in Judsonia about 10 miles north of Searcy. Job responsibilities include directing the 6th grade beginning band, 7th- 8th grade middle school band, and 9th-12th grade high school band, as well as teaching a middle school general music class, and possibly some elementary music, or high school music appreciation classes. Mineral Springs

Centerpoint School District
Centerpoint Band has an opening for a half-time assistant band director. Duties would include assisting with the high school band (including Friday nights), assisting with the 8th grade intermediate band and team teaching one class of beginners. Salary would be according to the district salary schedule with 1/2 the band director multiplier on a ten month contract. AR Baptist
Arkansas Baptist is currently looking for someone to fill the band director position during some time of the 2009 spring semester, while the director is out on maternity leave. Position: Two Graduate Assistantships for Bands at the University of Central Arkansas are available for the 2009-10 academic year; each assistantship is renewable for two years.  Degrees:  University of Central Arkansas offers the Master of Music Degree with concentration in conducting, music education, performance, or theory.
