Malvern Long-term Sub
Malvern is seeking a long-term sub due to maternity leave. The sub period will begin sometime in April and run through the end of the year. The schedule is: assist with HS Band, 1 6^th grade classes, 8^th grade band (full band depending on candidate), 7^th/8^th beginner band and 7^th grade band which is split. Arkansas Governor's School (www.hendrix.edu/ags)  is a summer, residential, education program for Arkansas high school rising seniors. We are currently accepting applications for a brass teacher to work with our brass ensemble and other instrumental music students. In addition to a competitive salary, AGS offers faculty and staff room and board on the Hendrix Campus as there are occasional evening and weekend responsibilities. Orientation for faculty and staff is from June 9 through June 12. Students arrive on Sunday, June 13, and depart on Saturday, July 10. If you know of someone that would have an interest in the second alto position for 2010 please have them email me right away. They must have: 1. great reading skills 2.
