University of Central Arkansas
The University of Central Arkansas is seeking an Instrumental Music Education Graduate Assistant for the 2016-17 school year.  Duties of this position would include the following: (a) attending undergraduate music education classes for which assistantship is assigned, (b) assisting with administrative duties for the music education classes, including setup, attendance, filming student teaching, (c) tutoring students as necessary, (d) overseeing sections when the class is broken into peer teaching assignments or separate field work assignments, and (e) teaching class in the instructor’s absence. Fayetteville Orchestra
The Fayetteville Public School District is currently looking for a qualified Strings teacher in a fast growing program.   Low string experience would be preferable, but overall qualifications will be considered.  The FPS strings program is in its fourth year, and is a rapidly growing program that will have approximately 171 students-grades 8-12 in the coming school year. (2015-2016 school year had 100 students). 
This full-time Strings position is for team teaching at Fayetteville High School and Woodland and Ramay Junior Highs.  This position is for strings only; no full orchestra directing experience is required.  Opportunity for full orchestra performances are just now opening up.
This program is seeking an applicant with a team work ethic and a dedication to help all students to grow and be challenged.  Applicants should be able to offer comprehensive string instruction for all string instruments from beginning through advanced levels.
