In Memory of Jonathan Cheatham	Jonathan was killed while on active duty in Baghdad with the 4^th Infantry Division from Ft. Hood, TX, on Saturday. July 26, 2003, in an attack on his convoy. Jonathan graduated in 2002, was a trumpet player in our band, and was the nephew of Fred Porchia (Camden Fairview MS Director). In Memory of Dustin Fisher	Army Spc. Dustin Fisher was killed in action in Baghdad on Tuesday, May 24, when a car bomb exploded near his humvee. Dustin was deployed to Iraq in January of this year, and was married in December just before he left. His widow, Alicia, is 19 years old. Dustin was the brother-in-law of Lavaca Middle School Band Director, Adam Coats and the younger brother of April Coats. Josh Goss	With heartfelt thanks to the ASBOA membership for its continuing prayer support, Cindy Burrow (Searcy) sends this report:There is great rejoicing in Burrow family!! We welcomed our son (in law) Marine Sgt. Josh Goss safely home from Iraq this past Friday. There were hundreds there to cheer all of the great guys home after a year away. After two, year-long deployments his company has had NO CASUALTIES. We are so thankful, but our prayers continue for the many who remain apart from their loved ones and in harm’s way. Combs has returned from a 5 year tour in Germany which also entailed Kosovo for 16 mos and Iraq for 14 mos. As a tank commander, he was often in harms way. The many prayers on behalf of our family are truly appreciated. He has returned home with all his parts where they are supposed to be.
