Rationale:  Looking more closely at the distribution of line items for the 3 categories on the Marching Adjudication sheet, for us to cover all the elements in the rubric, and keep our current mathematical balance, we should make the following changes:  (1) Add to the Marching Performance area – 16. Definition of Sets or Forms; (2) Strike 19. Visual Appeal as it could be covered in 18. Coordination of Visual Program with Music.  Remember that it did pass the membership that the check marks should reflect the rating.

Rationale: keeps all adjudication sheets in a standard format.  The fact that 10 of the 20 lines of adjudication concern playing should keep the balance of 50% of the rating is based on playing.  The priority of the ASBOA assessment should keep emphasis on the importance of a band sounding like a band.
